Kyun Ta Htaung Myae (Thousand Islands) is a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering indigenous communities in Shan State, Burma. For over six decades, this region has been ravaged by civil war, resulting in widespread poverty and profound inequality. In this challenging environment, the foundation works to build secure livelihoods and ensure that the knowledge and rights of indigenous peoples are respected.
